Position
Overview: The
Associated Cyber Sports
Marketing and Events Manager
is a high-energy, creative personality with proven experience as a
team player in creating memorable branded event experiences.
Working within the Event Solutions team alongside a strong and
dedicated group of corporate Marketing and Events Managers, this
person will interact regularly with Sports Marketing and Events,
Media Personalities, Experiential Marketing and Events. This position supports
key business and sponsorship objectives through the
development, coordination and execution of strategic events. The manager
is responsible for supporting strategic aliances and activaties on local,
regional, national and international levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide event
logistical support for the branding and execution of Associated
Cyber Sports-sponsored events
- Write event briefs,
budgets, critical paths and wrap up reports for each event
- Identify key dates
(critical paths) to be reached and ensure those key dates are
adhered to, or renegotiate deadlines
- Ensure Associated
Cyber Sports ' presence contributes to shareholder value through
leveraging and branding of sponsored events or programs
- Foster relationships
with key internal and external partners to protect and enhance
Associated Cyber Sports ' reputation and market share
- Leverage Associated
Cyber Sports ' Strategic Initiatives sponsorships and donations
with both internal and external stakeholders
- Determine and
execute logistical requirements around event activation through
Strategic Initiatives or Experiential Marketing and Events strategy Players
- Create impactful
promotional extensions, internal and external communications and
measurement of ROI
- Liaise between 3rd
party contractors, organizers, internal stakeholders, and
administrators with regards to all facets of the strategic and
tactical operations of marketing and event organization
- Develop exciting
Marketing and Events collateral such as event brochures and
flyers, banners, branded clothing, décor, booths, and related
materials

Attend events and participate in tournament, team management, set up and
cordination

Required
Knowledge:
- Solid understanding
of strategic event Marketing of Events, activation, policies,
practices and principles
- Strong experience and
knowledge of communications, public relations, Marketing and
Events, sponsorship and contract
execution
Required
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal
and communication skills and the ability to work effectively and
diplomatically with a wide range of personality types
- Creative flair with an
ability to entertain and create branded
experiences
Required
Professional Designation/Certification:
- A
university degree in a related field
or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work
experience is a plus
Required
Experience:
- Hands on experience in
event activation is required
- Minimum of two years
in an event management, public relations, Marketing and Events, or
community investment position
